WESTGATE PARK SALT LAKE. Nestled in an industrial part of Melbourne, commuters passing it on the West Gate.
Although the lake already has lots of salt — it is a salt lake after all — it only turns pink when salt levels are higher than usual. A few things that make this lake under the Westgate turn pink and that is high temperatures and lack of rainfall and lots of sunlight.
