Inspired by the Coloured Sands of Rainbow Beach
Have you ever seen the magical coloured sands at Rainbow Beach in Queensland? I’ll never forget the moment I went 4WD touring along that coastline—it was like stepping into another world. The sand wasn’t just sand… it was layered in the most stunning natural patterns, with shades of ochre, gold, blush pinks, deep reds, and soft greys, almost as if the earth had painted itself.
It was unlike anything I’d ever seen—raw, powerful, and beautiful. That experience stayed with me, and I knew I had to recreate it in my own way. Through abstract colour, bold shapes, and textured layers, I’ve created artworks that reflect the spirit and energy of that place.

Ani Ipradjian, a Melbourne-based artist, is known for her unique asymmetrical abstract style inspired by nature and cityscapes. Her work, featuring luscious textures and vibrant colors, captures Australia’s native flora and landscapes. With a Diploma in Art and Design, Graphic Design, and Photography, Ani combines acrylic painting with mixed media. She predominantly uses soft pinks, calming blues, and warm mustards. Ani's art brings any room to life.
